"I am only one, but I am one!"

A snowball can start an avalanch....

"May those that come behind us, find us faithful."

"Our name is worth more than money."

May we all leave a laudable legacy........those standing around our casket.......

Everyday, all of us make a thousand choices to be kind, or mean, to retaliate, or let it go...

I have a boss who says, "It is nice to be important, but more important to be nice."

Wake up early, and everyday beg God to help you make a difference.

I like this thread. It's ashame that we have to remind people to simply be courteous. I guess it's just a reflection of the times, and it may fall on deaf ears, but if even one or two drivers begin to think about this, that's one or two more on the courteous side. My own opinion is that a courteous driver is a safer driver.

There are many things repeated on this site many times, but I don't think that makes them any less important. I am sure that new people with or without experience come here all the time. Some may not know how to search the forums, some may not have time. So if it is never repeated, the new group never gets it.

I think above all, this site is (or should be) about giving help and advice to those that need it. And I think that it is especially important that the experienced guys expose the new drivers to the way that it used to be and the way it should be.

We may not change the entire industry by doing this, but if we say nothing, how can we then complain that they don't know?

Looks like you have been busy with retirement, very good, just wondering, on the wall is that top rifle a Enfield SMLE and bottom an '03 Springfield? And what's with the big gun towards the bottom, want to hunt an acre of deer at a time LOL......

Looks like the top one is an Enfield 2A1, which is .308 and the bottom does look like an '03.

To the OP I agree with you completely. Professionalism and courtesy has been dying in the trucking industry, for some time. I had a flat a few weeks ago and sat on the shoulder for two hours. Maybe one truck out of 20 moved over, the rest just few by @ 70 and shook my truck.

To those cynics that admonish the OP you are just as much a part of the problem, by saying nothing and jumping on this guy for posting this thread, you agree that this non professional behavior is OK, nothing can be done about it. Well you're entitled to your beliefs but don't jump on this guy for pointing out the obvious. If you're not interested in the thread and tired of reading it, then don't, move on.

The other day a mid western driver was complaining on the radio that a lot of drivers would not move to the right lane so he could pass, so. A driver responded "Welcome to the northeast that is how we drive up here." Well that may be true of many ignorant, non professional drivers, but not all of us.

And as long as we accept this behavior and say and do nothing about it, it will continue and get worse.

To the OP, stick to your guns, don't let anyone discourage you from voicing your opinion when you feel something is wrong.
