The only answer I can give is see what Holland has to other before making your choice

If you have already agreed to go to work for the one outfit, you probably should do so. If you haven't actually agreed to yet, though, then see what the other one offers before making the decision. I don't know anything about either company, so I don't have anything more to advise.

The way things are going lately with LTL, the one that hires you and keeps you working is the Better one

    Shaggy and ACH1130 Thank this.

Couldn't say it better markstevens. I'm lucky I was hired on a bid at UPSF and able to keep it. We got some city guys barely working and our extra board road guys sitting

    Marksteven and Shaggy Thank this.

I don't know where you are located but i will suggest you to check A Dui Pyle, Rl carriers, Black horse carriers, ABF freight, Estes express lines.

Holland is slammed with freight. Think they'll run you ragged. Which personally for me as a truck driver I like. I started with their fellow company USF Reddaway and haven't sat since I first started (struggled a lil bit for a month) then been consistently busy for the last 1 1/2 yrs even thru winter. Been on a bid for the last year can't complain. Just waiting for this whole YRC thing to sort out. Think it will.

That only depends on who's offering full time and if it's city or linehaul, extra board, etc...

USF isn't bad to work for. Their pay/benefits are pretty decent. If you can get a fulltime shift where you aren't sitting, you should have it made. I heard FXF pays better than USF. Their trucks also run faster for their line.

Now is a good time to get on board though with LTL. It is somewhat slow, so you will have enough time to get the hang of things before freight goes nuts in about three months. I was hired on as a rookie in the summertime. God, did I have a really really bad time.
