okay I got a question for you West Coast Swifty's I make my drop in Salt Lake City tuesday.I never run the west i run east coast northern midwest but never west coast.my question is is there anywhere I don't want to go on the west coastwhere I may get stranded without a return load...christmas is coming and I don't want to end up somewhere that I can't get out of.the last time I was in Salt Lake City I had a couple pre plans for Oregon but I wasn't sure if re turn loads are good out of that area so I took a load back east.this will give me a heads up on the preplans...knowing where not to go so I can get back east bound by the weekend....thanks

    The dilemma -

My first year trucking I took every load assigned, because I saw that refusing loads didn't work well for others.

That had me stuck in Florida for a day, North Platte, NE for 2 days . . . BUT . . . I averaged 2900 miles a week for the 18 months I stayed with them.

I also noted a distinct lack of traffic on Christmas day that year . . .

Watch out with that MAC 30. Does not give all of the info and you can get caught in something that you really do not want. As long as your DM's are around, then you can call and get the low down. It is supposed to be getting fixed, but who knows when.

I'll second THAT! Last time I went there I spent 3 days waiting for a load.
