Duh,, I've been floating gears for years...Progressive shifting also helps.

I would imagine most drivers with experience know how to float gears,i was taught by my trainer 6 years ago

 

You mean you actually had a trainer that even knew how to shift years? I guess it can happen if you're lucky enough.

 

yes sir my trainer was actually good at teaching,his personal hygiene habits sucked lol.he only thought we needed showers once every 7 days

 

Yes some of us do teach that. To the right students I'll even explain how to shift 13 speeds, both types. Can't demo that at USA though.
