The Rubicon is hopeless on asphalt though. Unless you are actually going to use it for off-roading I would just go with the unlimited. Test drive both and you'll see the difference. I wonder if people just buys the Rubicon because it has a sticker on the hood.

Laredo to Franklin, IN

I'll be in Laredo in the morning but no preplan yet. I screwed up my eta and said I'd be there Thursday when I meant Wednesday but I'm sure they know what I meant.
-
Ill make it just past Texarkana tomorrow. Then deliver thursday in Temple.
Yes I will be offroading if I get the jeep. There are 5 jamborees within a days drive of memphis. Plus several places around here to play. Plus hunting. The 4wheel drive will get worked. One issue on asphalt is the rubicon has Dana 44 axles front and rear. Regular jeeps gave a dana35 rear and Dana 30 front. The 44s are heavier and tougher. Plus stiffer springs and shocks on the rubicon. -
Looks like I may be here for a bit. Trailer was a piece of junk. No power to the back. Flat tires all around ABS light didn't work, and when they got the ABS light problem fixed now there's 2 sensors out. So gonna be here a while I guess.

I just left Laredo about 4:00 am headed to Tucson, AZ.
