Before anyone else says it here goes; NONE...yeah I know...

But in a world where you would have to choose one, which of the aforementioned eLogs are the best?

I only have experience with Peoplenet (& Qualcomm, but that's not an option now) and the differences between Peoplenet & QC was that QC drive time kicked in once you hit 15mph. Peoplenet jumped to tge drive line once you drove 2 miles from the last stop regardless of the speed... so how do these other machines work?

XRS, Omnitracs & ISE Fleet Services? Thanx

Never liked Peoplenet, feel it was too simplistic and basic. Our QC doesn't kick in till 25mph. Think that is a company decision. I love QC out of the ones I've used which were Peoplenet, Xata and QC.

Yeah I figured it probably was a company decision but wasn't too sure ... so could a company decide what is allowed on how to input drive time? For instance, could a company say, " the eLog machine wont kick in and/or record drive time if the driver doesn't manually do it him or herself"?!?!?

Don't know, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of elogs in the first place?

Yeah ...but you'd be surprised, apparently (dont know if this is true or not but) a driver told me that the old Xata or whatever its called was manually inputed
