another useful tool to buy is a battery powered leaf blower... makes "sweeping" out the trailer a breeze... and satisfies many places that want the trailer washed out before you arrive.

Febreeze works great too for killing smells. Turn the unit on and go inside the trailer and spray a bunch in the intake and shut the doors and leave it in continuous and by the time you get to your pick up the smells will be gone. G

    True Temperature Refrigeration!

Just Kidding, our forum name is The Truckers Report. :)

We had a forum upgrade last year and they forgot the "The" in the new logo but we are still TTR.

Edit: Note to self... Note there is another page of answers before replying!

And what happens to all that debris you blow out of ur trailer into a truck stop pl or from the roadside? Does it just go away? Or do you use a broom and sweep it up and properly? Just wondered because i always notice a lot of pallet pcs/plastic & cadrboard in the above named areas. Some good timesaving advice, but you should always sweep up the ground afterwards. Even in a gravel lot i sweep up. That way drivers wont continue to loose the few places we have left to park and we dont trash the great nation that we get to see everyday as we roll our trucks through it.

Well, I have 2 months in now with Reefer. And I couldn't possibly have titled this thread any better. Unless it read "Reefer is for Dummies"!
