Sounds to me like they had you a load to get home but you felt that the 2 hours you had left wasn't sufficient to drive 50 miles to the pickup. I would've gotten it picked up.
Where, OH, Where........

don't feel bad I sent a message 2 hours ago telling them about my load not being there, still no response ,I don't let them weekend guys get under my skin, they aint worth it
-
And stayed where? Cant stay there. An hour there and an hour to load then what? Sleep on the side of the road? I asked him if he wanted me to head there I would. Appt was for 1700. My 14 was up at 1650. Most places ive been wont load early even if they put you in a door. If they didnt get me loaded in time for me to drive to a safe place to park before my 14 was up then what? Who deals with the violation? I told him to send me that he knew my situation on the time I had left and to go anyways. He would not. That is all the answer i needed. You may not mind HOS violations but im not getting one if i can help it. I had also only had about 4hrs sleep.since 7am the day before and had been driving all night.
So go be super employee and risk your ticket and life because of their lack of planning. I wont. Do you think safety would care what happened if I busted my 14? No way to cheat the 14 on an elog. Not everyone can be a great as you DG. I wish i could but i cant be. 《Sarcasm by the way》
Oh and please explain the wrong msgs being sent to me instead of who they were ment for. Then when I ask about the weird msgs I get argumentative msgs about already talking to me twice today and to wait. I had not talked to anyone since yesterday on phone or QC. I was getting someone elses msgs. And when I inquired they got mad about it. So no I dont excuse their incompetence. I work hard for them. All I ask is to get home when I ask. Crap can happen sometimes but I wont excuse it happening almost everytime. Not hard to get someone thru west memphis. Two major interstates.
As far as it being a weekend dispatcher... WM rotates their DMs on the weekend day shift. Wasnt my DM but it was a full time DM not a weekend babysitter. Mine was off friday and saturday. No idea if he is working tomorrow. I still dont know their schedules.
I wont matter to much longer. Better cpm and getting hourly pay for all work other than driving. Avg 2500-2900 per week. Home by Friday evening every week. Home almost every other night. Off weekends. Better benefits. Going to talk with the mgr monday. No trucks older than 3yrs and buying all new petes now. -
I look at things like this are we as a driver allowed 24 to 48 hours to return to work after we are due back out no,so that bs the company tells anyone who will buy it about we have 24 to 48 hours to get you home before or after your selected home time don't fly unless you as a driver let it fly,i can count on one hand how many times ive gotten home late in my 6 years here.Ive been lucky enough to have good dms that get you home. We have 2200 + trucks according to the last earnings report they can get you home just takes a little effort sometimes and living in Tennessee that should never be a problem seeing the amount of trucks we run through that state on a daily basis.

Current location - 45th Parallel North (Halfway between the equator and north pole). The salt they use on the road up here sounds like gravel.

He quit awhile back. The last time I heard from him he said that he was doing too much sitting and wasn't making any money. I guess he had a bozo FM and things weren't going very well.
