If it was sealed when you picked it up start at the 8th hole. If you are able to look inside slide tandems to where the back edge of the tires are lined up with the back edge of the load. Look at your drive and tandem tires sidewall bulge; they should look the same. Then drive straight to the nearest CAT scale!

Depends on what you are carrying and how it was loaded ... But 37K ... I'd put at CA legal, call it good and roll. If it's pallets ... all the way forward and roll.

Now would that be from fifth wheel to middle of the rears or end of the rears?

I got fouled up pretty bad last year on a load, the BOL listed 36,000 pounds, I set the tractor suspension gauge to legal and rolled. Embarrassing to admit, but got popped at the scales for 2200 pounds over on the trailer, evidently the customer put too much product on the trailer. That little mistake of not paying the $10 bucks to scale the load cost me $3800 bucks. When in doubt, scale the laod and send macro 50 to cover your tail end. If the load shifts, you have it in the system showing legal weights and will not be liable for rework.

yeah.....anything over 35000 lbs, i always go to nearest catscale. calif bridge law is fifthwheel to center axle on rear axle of trailer. there are some states that goes to middle of tandems of trailer. check your mp when in doubt

I know this is about where you swift drivers are now but I have a question for you guys.
I am an experienced driver and have been looking at swift. They have offered me a good pay per mile, more than I am making now and the recruiter said I could get home every other weekend. I live in Mobile Al. The home time is a big thing for me.
Also benefits I have heard the benefits at swift are decent.
You guys let me know if you think the every other weekend is possible.
