Hey guys, I had xm radio on my car about 5 years ago. Loved it but when I try to cancel it, they gave me the run around and just keep asking why I want to cancel it. Finally had to call my credit card to stop anymore payments from them. Customer service sucks. But it gets annoying flipping fm stations every 50 miles and my phone data coverage only works on major cities. So any guys have a solution to this? And is it really worth the price. And can I pay by check lol

It's very worth it when you go coast to coast on a weekly basis.
I liked having a combination of XM, Pandora and Audio books.

When I got bored with that, I'd get on the CB and chatter about how my panties weren't on.

Oh, and probably not gonna be able to pay by check. Just use a pre-paid debit card from walmart or a truckstop.

When you order, tell them not to set up recurring payments.I did that, and was told I would have to pay a extra five bucks when I receive a annual renew statement. Not a problem I told them.

Same here, but they forget to tell you something. I did not want it anymore, it automatically renewed in January even though the radio was removed in October.

Its is for sure worth it, i have had mine for about 2 months now and just have no clue how i made it before. I listen to a show called coast to coast AM and with my XM i could not do it. Plus if your into ESPN radio and mike and mike in the morning its nice to not have to chanel surf all the time just to hear them as you drive

    FOR SURE BUY IT

They should be standard equipment in every truck and every long-haul trucker would be happy to pay the $11/month subscription (or whatever it is) if they tried it for a month and avoided the constant channel searching and weak stations.

Admittedly, terrestial radio does offer a few stations here and there who play some great music that you can't/won't hear anywhere else but they are so far and few between, it's not worth saving the cost of satellite radio.

I'm looking forward to the day HD video (tv) can be received just as easily as sirius/xm audio with the same [type] antenna. (It's coming, just don't know how far off)

I'm a Sirius user since 2004 and to me it's totally worth it. Any kind of music you want to listen to and the main reason I keep it is because of all the NFL games that are on it. I would leave my phone before I will my Sirius lol

It's normally over 200 a year for sat radio. I told them to stick it. I have pandora and iheart. I told them geez it's radio 240 a year is crazy. I hung up week later get a call from the promotions dept. made a deal for 7.50 a month for the whole xm package if I paid then. I said sure send me a bill I didn't want to pay with credit card. They agreed and I agreed. Waved the connection fee also.
