Did Schneider turn all the trucks down to 60? I thought I read somewhere they were now 60 on cruise and 64 on the pedal.

I hated driving 60 at first but now I like it. People go around and leave me alone and I never have to kick off the cruise. But I like having an ungoverned truck now, so when I WANT to go fast, I CAN. I no longer play passing games with these moron drivers that speed up as soon as I get next to them, etc.

The #1 thing that pisses me off though is when I'm cruising in the granny lane like I should be, and I move over to let another truck merge on. Then, the truck that merges on proceeds to not let me back over, and instead tries to pass on the granny lane (that I just let them in) at their governed 65 MPH when I'm doing 61 or so. I let them get up next to my window, look over at them, drop half a gear and then just roast their sorry ***, get back in the granny lane and slow down to my cruising speed. Usually they get their feelings a little hurt and will stay way behind me for a bit, then eventually they'll pass on my left and won't even look over. Tools.

do you think we should be concerned that replacement seatbelts for freightliners are on back order with none to be had nationwide?

I ask because there may or may not be a fleet truck that needs one replaced.
