info on fedex freight

I drive a ground truck, and do P&D, I like to be done and heading back by 4pm, most of the time I can accomplish that, but during busy times, and bad weather, that doesnt happen. But I still practice safety. I dont rush, I dont speed or try and run the yellow lights, or do 70mph down the highway.
I had a FxF guy even compliment me on how responsible I am as a driver. I'll tell you guys what I told him. Not all FedEx Drivers are dumb@$$es. Yes there are a fair share of them, but there are others who want to have a long standing record of accident free. I am one of them. I have NO problem driving in the right slow lane, if it means I"m safe, I'm all set.
I would love to drive for FxF, but I do like the freedom that I have at Ground

 

The safe thing to do is find a good spot to drop one of your trailers/con. I know from personal experience that it is a bad idea to pull triples when the roads are snow covered. Doesn't even have to be your fault, if you have to make an emergency stop, you are pretty much done. You'll be folded up like an accordion blocking the interstate. People will not even have room to dodge you if they come at you from a blind curve.
