Lady K Thanks this. -
loves in tulare ca. picked that load up at apple valley dc and took it to duarte store. docks tight with really no room to park. had to pull and empty out of door then put loaded one back in. had to get a bread truck moved first. then p/u load in southgate and took that to porterville dc. then they said they are letting me go. called the willows dl and he said to go here and spend a 34. he'll call them and make sure. he said sometimes they let everyone loose only to call some back.

Laredo, Willows and I think Martinsville.dptrucker Thanks this.

Laredo showers I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
I'd rather stink for a couple more days than set foot in one.
And I did, after walking into one a couple years ago. -
Laredo also has shower rooms, much larger than Edwardsville. Willows, CA as well.dptrucker Thanks this.

I have officially quit Swift. Spent a couple nights over at my new company's headquarters trying to get all the paperwork and stuff together to run legal. It was a slow process but finally got everything lined up and made it home tonite and will go lease a trailer in the morning (Wednesday) Had hoped to do that a couple mornings ago, but got a 34 hour break in so not all bad I guess.
WitchyWomen and inkeper Thank this. -
At the new Love's in Springville, UT. MUCH nicer than the J 1 exit north.
I delivered a load of plastic pallets Monday in SoCal that was WAY too heavy for CA. My fault for letting the foreman fill the trailer all the way to the door. I was legal as far as weight but was glad to run I-10 in the dark and get my normal green flash from the Banning scale.
Picked up a load of TP in Chino which I delivered to Corinne, UT this afternoon. I guess the move to the Central terminal has rattled the Salt Lake planners as they kept sending me CRAP all day. First was a load they removed after only 6 minutes, then the 45,000 lb load WITHOUT a delivery appointment that I let die as well as the load to WA with 0000 loaded miles. Finially a load from Spanish Fork, UT to Nogales, AZ that picks up tomorrow and delivers Friday. Since I'm going right by the house I see 1 or 2 nights at home enroute.
Spent my 30 minute break talking with a Central O/O who was also headed to Corinne. Gave him a couple tips as to working the Swift fuel system as well as informing him that he could fuel at any WalMart DC Swift has the contract for. -
Nice.
The Central people can use all the help they can get.
The guy in the Central shop could not even pull up my truck's history because it is a different system.
It took a Swiftie to do it, going through the Swift system.
Hopefully things will get sorted out between the two, soon.Lady K Thanks this. -
Sumner terminal...
