Leave Enough Space - Rest Areas

well did you notice my stash of toys between all the garbage on my dash? you can come join me tonight

 

Shhhhhhh can't let the wife find out..... lol.

 

The worst thing is when you enter one of the rest areas with the angled parking, and some jerks have parked behind the formerly full rows, and gone to sleep, but the there are several spots open NOW you can't get into due to the jerk parking where he isn't supposed to.

when I do a bad job of parking I always where my transam coat
so other drivers understand I am barely out of my diapers

Although, instructively, it is something to be aware of at certain rest stops, aka: pickle parks.

 

seems there's always a few of you ________ around....

no matter where it is... some drivers just cannot grasp the how and why on leaving space for others

 

I swear some of these rest areas for trk parking designed it for cars.Thers 1 I won't even go to during the day.It not only takes 5 minutes just to get to it but its very tight for trk to maneuver around.A few of the rest areas in the East coast,you have to hop the curb or wake the driver up to.Then of course there are idiots who park like 5 feet ahead of the line.If its a tight rest area to begin with,ill park elsewhere because I know it'll be a challenge trying to get out in the morning.

 

Yeah - I know right!? Trucking is so easy. All of these guys are idiots!

I call ahead and have the rest area employees lay a trail of rose petals ahead of me so my auto pilot fairy angels can park it for me.

Then I simply lay down on a satin pillow in the bunk and gently pass wind, watching butterflies shooting out of my rear end.

Life is so easy for me , and so difficult for the rest of you muppets.

 

When I drove in 08 and 09 sometimes pulling in to a rest area to use the bathroom was a big challenge.
