Did ya ever get any fish?

 

Yeah..We did OK actually for the fish being under the ice. Even saved a Carp for C.C....As we don't think much of them up here(Carp) I realize their (special) to Southern folk. So....I will carry it around with me till I can give it to him personally..Course the guts are still in it..

 

Never cared for carp, too many bones. Catfish is a whole nother fish. I'll eat all that I can get. Kinda hard to get, though, when ya don't fish.

 

Carp (MN style) is smoked. And I too enjoy Catfish..catchin and eatin em but:Is it not the easiest and best to 'catch' ones fish at a restaurant?

 

speaking of fish,my son caught a 30 inch wild rainbow trout out of the boise river in boise id and he caught it off a fly.he caught it last week.he said there were bigger ones in there.he released it after he took pictures.i taught him everything he knows about fishing...I wish

 

I would have taught him to clean/eat it?!? Just-a-sayin...

 

I asked him why he didn't at least mount it.cost to much.he does eat them on occasion but cant see one that big not being put back out of resect for being around for so long.his logic must come from his mothers side I would have ate it with out a second thought
