Most of "my drivers" didn't have loads last week. There were a couple that took loads up to PA, then back to UT. They didn't seem to have any problems with weather. Now, there are more than a few drivers I would like to send out OTR for a while and maybe they wouldn't be so picky about what they will or won't do. Then again, they aren't my pets and I don't do the load planning/dispatch.

You're correct, Pete. I forgot we had 1 that stopped up around Grand Island. I was thinking about drivers out east :biggrin_25526: I'm cool with admitting when I'm wrong.

Albertville, MN for the night waiting to get into the shop for a quarterly check up. Looks like it's going to be a long wait.

Just pulled my truck out the shop. The check up found a bad water pump so now it's a new one. Time for bed. Going to get up at 0700 to find a load going by the house. Night all.

they definitely keep me moving.by not turning down loads I usually get some nice runs for awhile when I do a load someone else turned down.i just keep my mouth shut and do what they want.it has worked for me for years.

speaking of nice runs.i went from raliegh,nc then to the airport in newart,nj/then to Rochester,ny and now I have a load going to dallas,tx.1500 miles on this one trip.a driver just doent get a 1500 mile run at Ozark.how sweet it is.i am pumped.when I worked for may trucking 1500 mile run was a short run.i sure do miss those days.but when they started micro managing it was time to move on.plus 61 mile an hour governer.I,ve been on the nite train for awhile and I need to be back on the normal shift that gives me some good sleep.
