Seen a few 2 hour limit sign like in a speedway and pilot. Do they actually enforced them? Or they just put the sign up to make the land owner or resident happy

See a lot of signs like that.I just take them as a suggestion and take my 10.

2 hour limit at a pilot? LMAO good luck with that.

I saw two signs at a Pilot in NY the other day: 3 hour limit and no idling. I also saw about 40-50 trucks idling with their lights off. Guess they're taking 3 hours naps.
-
Not sure if ny is enforcing it anymore since I don't run that way much, but they used to be fairly aggressive about it. -

The Pilot in Springfield, IL has 2 hour limit parking signs. I took a ten there. Nobody said anything.

I think most of the time limits are imposed by the city those stops reside in. I've never had a problem taking a ten at a stop with time limit signs posted. You want me gone, you're gonna have to come out and make me move. I'd imagine the people working at the Pilot or whatever just don't give a rip.

Over night there all the time.
If people are UNSURE when they see the signs, why don't they go ask the manager ? Wouldn't they know the best answer?
