Why everyone consider California bad for trucking? Any specific reason?

Traffic and idiot drivers that have absolutely no patience. High fuel cost and bad roads(some are getting better), also too much construction that seems to last for years. Oh, and how about the rest areas always being closed when you need them.

    Shall I go on?

Truck drivers that do not have any patients. Most drivers now tailgate, speed drive in the wrong lanes, Calif is not difficult at all.

That $425 bucks will seem like a bargain compared to them blaming you for a fire that starts. You won't make enough money in your life to cover that bill.

A lot of the roads in California are damaging to our trucks. When you are bouncing down the road at 55 mph and suddenly you hit a section where 45 mph is too fast, you stand a good chance of breaking something and ending up sitting on the side of the road. Or, get pulled into and inspection station and they find the broken spring that happened 10 miles before you got there, that isn't funny and it gets very expensive. Those jeep trails they call highways need replaced but that state has mismanaged the highway funds so bad that they can't afford to fix them.
