Let me see if I can remember what I did today.
    Oh yeah!
Got a text OBVIOUSLY by Greg with two pick ups on it.
FMC for a 160# pallet. And Oceanex for four cartons at 105#. FMC at 8:30 & Oceanex at 9.
Made FMC at 8:30. But was like 9:45 when I got to Oceanex.
When I got to SDV I had already gotten two other things to do. And since Raul left they have gotten EVER so slow to unload. So I backed up to the pickup high dock and got the stuff off the truck so one of the guys who doesn't drive a forklift would sign me off
But then pick up at DGM also for SDV. So went there and waited 30 minutes for the paperwork to come out. Then waited 45 minutes to get it off the truck.
Then picked up Paint on West Hardy for a place right by Hobby.
Then to Deer Park for 4ctns of battery acid which went to Vidor. Then 5 miles South. Then 5 miles West on a gravel road to the jobsite. Left there at 5:45 and rolled in home at just before 8.

Chicken and Dumplings for dinner. And now I shall be zzzz in a few minutes.

Well, your propane should start falling off a bit now, I would think. Welcome back!

And like my friend Dave says, "no plan resists first contact".... I delivered this evening in OK and the folks were extra fast... :yes2557: DSP gave me next load assignment picking up in Fort Worth, TX tomorrow... So, instead of going to one of the places my friend told me, I ran south and now I'm parked at a big rest area in TX. :biggrin_25519: After pick up, will run to MA.... don't like that region though... :biggrin_25512: NJ, NY, CT, MA... Will have plenty of time though... delivery will be on Monday...

My plan for the Northeast (which worked maybe half the time) was get up EARLY and start the logbook at like 4AM so that by 5pm I was thinking about where to park. USUALLY up there I could park on the property I was picking up at.

Up and at 'em for another day.

And if your appointment time is say 2300?

The NE is great. Most drivers don't know how to make money up there, where to park, how to avoid the toll roads... and traffic is a breeze compared to Los Angeles on a Friday afternoon, Dallas, Atlanta, Austin...

Sunbury OH at the Flippin' PEE-hook. Getting paid to deadhead from Pennsylvania to Arkansaw, so I can pull a even better payin' turn back to Virginia.
