A quick search on my company's website, contractors can get a $0.35 discount at Your NE Petro for $3.60 using their fuel card to get the discount.

Still at home, coming back out Monday night.

Word to the wise for anyone staying this weekend in Jurupa Valley (Mira Loma):

If you plan on "keeping" an empty by putting a kingpin lock on it, think again. Last time I spent a weekend there they had a guy searching the lot for empties with kingpin locks and removing them.

You WANT that empty? Then hook up to it and plan to walk farther to the driver's lounge.

JP/ML does fill up fast on Fridays and is packed through the weekend. That's because all the Monday morning deliveries are arriving, either getting t-called or drivers unable to t-call and having to sit for the weekend. Plan on being creative with your parking if you are hooked to a trailer.

By the way, many of the trailer slots in the new yard are being taken by bobtails, drivers that want to score the shortest possible walk to the driver's lounge. Bad form IMHO. There's plenty of bobtail parking in the old bobtail parking area within 100 yards of the lounge. Leave the trailer slots for trailers, help out a fellow trucker.

interview got pushed back until Monday since the site manager wanted the DL to be part of it as well and she already went home.
Another long night not shutting down until 8am, dang construction on these roads are just getting ridiculous, had to do a fun detour since the 405 was shut down, I should of went south from Yussen and took the 710 to the 5 but live and learn. Then in Santa Clarita only 1 lane was open and there was a traffic jam even at 5am on a Saturday with miles of lanes closed and nothing going on.
Glad im going north tonight and delivering at a Target in Tracy.

Big Spring, TX. Now have to make a decision tomorrow. Stop in El Paso at the Petro and drive 30 miles Monday morning, or stop in Anthony and only drive 10 miles in the morning. Already made up my mind. Drive the 8 miles and not deal with rush hour through El Paso on Monday morning.

Stopped 16 miles before Tehachapi... Clock ran out, so switching drivers here... Nice breeze with the doors open, eating dinner relaxing and reading the forum... Soon enough to get back to rolling... Will be at about the CA/AZ border near midnight :D

Columbus, OH at the terminal after t-calling a load and picking up a t-called load.

    Last night was fun.
Parked next to the Walmart dock with the managers permission, just to be kicked out by security a couple hours later.
He said I could park on the street, so I did.
A couple hours later I had a cop banging on my truck telling me to leave or get a ticket for parking on the street of a 'township' with a 11k weight limit.
He seemed to make a really big deal about the term 'township', and he seemed to be going postal.
So I moved yet again into the Walmart lot that was actually too small to really fit a big rig. But I found a spot.
Luckily I was out early enough to get out of there before cars started filling it up.

That area, near Philadelphia PA, is very unfriendly to truckers.
I'm no longer going to accept any loads from there if I don't have at least 3 hours left on my clocks to get far away.
