At least the driver was able to get out of the rig. Scary stuff. Why was he down there? Is it posted no 53"?

Actually I went through again and saw that someone already posted this story a couple weeks ago. My bad....
That's one of those PA roads that's posted to prohibit 102" doubles or single 102" trailers over 28 1/2 feet. He was probably following GPS. Next time I bump into Bobby (the police chief) I'll ask him.Generictrucker Thanks this. -

About three weeks ago, I had a guy in my class who had been experienced, but had let his CDL go due to family issues. He was chock full of stories along those lines about most of the Northeast. Said CT is almost as bad. Never drove out there myself. Always ran Western.

Rand McNally worked fine before gps came along and continues to work fine. how do you think freight got moved all these years??? between my map, pay phones, cell phone, my cb and some common sense I managed to get anywhere I needed to go to get my freight picked up and delivered and never had any issues. I guess I'm too old school to depend on a gps over my map...
passingthru69 Thanks this.
