I think Wolf you'll have a hard time finding sympathy. Your with your gal at the beach, even me at home it's in the 90's and I just have a pool. Fingers crossed when we hit San Diego at the end of the month the weather is nice. It's more of a drive but Steve and I love Gualala....

we went thinking we were going to get away from the heat, the boat tour was nice since over the water was much cooler and later in the day we went north more where it was a bit cooler as well.
I have never spent time on the San Diego beaches so dont know much about it and its temps and stuff. It looks like in a couple days the temps are going to fall back down in areas.

    Rolla, MO at the Love's.

I'm headed to IL, delivering tomorrow.

Not many hours on my 70 until the 17th when some good hours start cycling back in.
I'm hoping I'll get a load out to Denver, CO for my home time to see my oldest little one graduate from high school on the 21st.

Here at the Petro in Albert Lea. What a headwind from Des Moines to the twin Cities. Any one want to bet that by the time I leave here on Saturday that the wind will do a 180 on me. I have all of 3 hours between now and Saturday, so guess that sitting here. Got this load off MAC 30 yesterday. Surprised me. Going to El Paso, all of 16K. Works jsut great with my hours. Dropps no later than noon on Monday, so me thinks that I will take my time and get there Monday. Not looking for to US-54 most of the way.

Made a decision today. I am so burned out that sometime next month I am going to park this truck somewhere for about 7 days and walk away. I know that it will not be home. Maybe a golfing/casino resort. Probably even turn the phone off and just be a hermit. My nerves are shot and my patientence, well, I just do not have any. In the morning or afternoon, walk in to Trails with a credit card. I have always liked shopping here for some good food.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

Sheridan WY I guess about halfway from Chicago to Seattle. I'm delivering to a place just down the street from the Swift Sumner terminal. Hope it is not raining too bad when Abby and I get there, we love to walk for miles along that river trail.

was a long night and very close delivery, went to Merced which the load cut 30min late, then had a conagra load added on so shot up to Modesto to get that, then had a load to Lancaster which needed to be delivered by 0300, I made it to the store and did my final call at 02:53, shut down at the dc with 1 min left on the clock.
Today will be going to Grenada hills then pick up a Purina in Maricopa and a load to Porterville. I cannot complain about miles lately thats for sure.

Also found out today I was not chosen for the ect job, I told the site manager I cant succeed without trying and I will try again, his reply was that chance might come sooner than I think since things are always changing. Ohwell I knew others who had actual experience applied for the job so maybe better luck next time.

Wolf, if you don't ask the answer is always No, so ask ask ask, You'll never get anywhere, get ahead, or get experience if you don't put yourself out there. Good Luck.

lewiston id...waiting for dock to clear at this bullet manufacturer. was a slow drive today..took 5hr20m to go 248 miles. did a few bathroom stops and stopped at scale south of here to get the colored map for permit. on southside of white bird hill summit(half-mile ferom top), swift driver went over the side. they had a crane that took up the whole road and had the trailer almost to the top. couldnt see truck, so dont know if it wasa company or o/o. ask the officer at scalehousew and he heard he hit the guardrail, thwen went over. not sure if driver survived, but officer said he didnt think so
