Location for the night

Sitting b/t at the Pilot in Battle Creek, Michigan. My load home won't be ready until tomorrow.

 

15 left on my clock and they got done unloading me. Park in some new unclaimed warehouse.

 

45 miles from home. NOT happy. Long story, but boils down to my parking spot change was requested & approved, but not changed in the calendar thing that tells them where to route me for time at home.

Will be home, if the old man will come get me. I will make the kid bring me to get the truck tomorrow.

 

Lets see.... the truck is 4 miles away at the drop customer because I ran my 14 out. I am at the super 8 in mount vernon ohio. If you EVER have to stay here make sure you ask for smoking or NON. Might have to switch rooms.

 

Thank you for the oj this morning...sorry I missed you. I did flip my lights on as you were pulling up to the gate, though.

When you get back, would you let Roger in the shop know that the sand did not make an appreciable difference and I will see him next time I'm at Chez Obetz? I think his name was Roger...I am so bad at the social graces...guess that's why I'm a punkin driver!!

 

Got to have brunch with the oldest daughter (& oldest granddaughter) today. Was nice, since they won't be up this weekend 'cause she has to work. Daughter said she has taught Cheryl the 'fist pump', even though most truckers can't see her, stuck as she is in her car seat in the middle of the back seat. Also says it will be 2 days before C stops waving & saying 'bye bye' to every semi she sees!

 

Short and skinny? Blond? See him often. Usually works express bay.
