I spent four days going thru my truck to make sure she was ready to rumble. Thankfully it worked well. Out of 10 trucks, mine is the only to have passed, not that Im bragging ; )

I want to pay off my truck before I decide whether to add a truck or two, get myself in a better financial position. Plus I want to see if the economy is gonna crash again.

 

So in one week you moved one load in already want to add four more trucks to Mercer? That is the craziest thing I have heard you say, you could add 10 trucks and not one truck will duplicate the gross revenue that you bring in. You need to understand the system and figure out what all miles are before you consider putting on more trucks, I know people at Mercer that average around two dollars a mile by the time you add driver pay to that and the cost of operating a truck there's not much profit left over...... You need to slow it down there buddy before you end up over your head.

 

I'd be happiest just doing my thing and not complicating it.

Are you talking DH included? All miles? $2.00 plus paying a driver? Or $2.00 per mile after expenses?
