    GE,
Thinking about pulling Intermodal, seeing as I live in the South Metro Atlanta area where there is allot of Intermodal trucking, debating on driving for the Pumpkins or driving for J.B. Hunt. I figured no matter what things couldn't possibly be horrible when you're doing something such as local Intermodal.

Any thoughts good, bad or indifferent?

If you want to do intermodal in Atlanta. See Comtrak or Direct Intermodal, at least you're staying somewhere near here. But honestly I run here and the rates are decent right now. All I can say is don't believe that Lease-Purchase crap, the company is going to get it's money and and most of yours.

I refuse to L/P... Only way I'll drive is a company truck... Or after I get my year in driving for an O/O at the company my Father-In-Law is the Safety Manager for.

I figure that it has to be good, I currently work at a place right next to the CSX Intermodal Yard and see the trucks that are in and out all day..

By the way, I am limited by being a new driver, with very little experience but was told that if there were open positions that no experience is required for the Pumpkins or JB Hunt

Tallk to both and see what they have to offer. J.B. has too much freight. And Schneider has a lot but not really down here.

I looked into J.B. Hunt and even on the job postings where they say 0 months experience they still say they want at least 3 months. That's what I was told anyway.
