i live right by shakopee and 494 bridge over the river is nothing compared to the golden gate bridge, when you cross over it you just think it is a good size bridge.

We do not have counties here so we were never taught that in school.. I live in LaFourche Parish in south Louisiana

 

yes, it does, my dh has one now. just like this, and not far from that same area. He asked my dh the same thing about Chigo, thought it was an eastern state. He is a good driver, but he can't read maps. MY hubby is trying so hard to show him how to read a map. this guy just doesn't get it. Dh is being really slow and easy with this guy, trying to show him everything about map reading. and he is having a hard time with his logs, but he is getting better at it.

 

I live in Michigan and take the shortcut from Michigan thru Ontario to get to New York.

Watch the Weather Channel sometime and you'll see that there is a big void that exists between Michigan and New York.

Apparently, weather just kinda stops at the border and doesn't dare cross over. Those Canadians are a tough bunch!

To someone who can't read a map, or add hours to properly complete a logbook, if they watched the Weather Channel, they would know that there really isn't anything north of the border.

I don't have any problems reading a road atlas, but I'll have to admit --- I don't know what a "dh" is. :smt102
