Scales IN the roads in now???

    Yep,, I was just going to mention this, The state smokey was siting there last week by the McDonald's overpass with a chase car 1/8 mile up the road.

    yes sir, the east bound south of Madison is closed permanent, and I have been told by old hands that the scale and camera on I43 is because over size, over weight loads out of Chicago area used to go up I 43 to US 12 then back to 90 through MN to 52 and go to the twin citys and that way they would skip the permits and save some money.

    We have had weight in motion in Australia for years. They have scales in the road before the weigh bridge, if you are close to maximum weight they pull you in, if not you keep going.

    Since 355 is a way to bypass the I55 scales they will watch that route for cheaters!

    Haha learn something new everyday.....during that blitz I took 355 and wonder why bears were chilling there
