Out of 1102 driver inspections in the past two years, 77 have been put out of service due to violations. Thing Id like to know, why do the feds have a higher tolerance(Threshold) for alcohol and drugs than they do hours of service?

Same company that was in that huge fog/smoke pile up in Gainesville last year....
R.I.P. Drivers.

Well its not as if he was hit while he was on the shoulder. He was back on the road doing 40 -45 mph. It's pretty clear that the second driver tried to avoid the crash and steered toward the shoulder and clipped the 1st truck on the right rear.

Never teamed, never will, never wanted too. I couldn't think of a worse way to day. Laying half asleep in bunk and BOOM!

I've more than once seen drivers for that company going through parking lots like they were on a race track, and blowing around other people in bad weather. Doesn't surprise me.blairandgretchen Thanks this.

thats florida beauty express. sucks since i know some people who work there.
this is why teaming sucks and is dangerous, this company puts two rookies to drive team, they had just left miami a few hours before... yet the driver was already falling alseep..
its time for the fmcsa to regulate how teams work.. how many more team deaths need to happen?blairandgretchen Thanks this. -
Who said they were both rookies? I hit a million miles at the age of 32.
