Well, no music on either of my bikes, plenty of AC tho, just turn the throttle! I have a back brace on one bike, don't care for it, usually just lean back on the wife.

Don't forget that the Sport-touring and adventure bikes are Huge right now. I had a 06 ninja 250 as my first bike, 06 SV1000s as my second and a 08(I think, the last year before they came out with that horrible Gladius) SV650. Most of my friends all have the Sport tourers, Multistrada(both Gens) Triumph Tigers, FJR, ST1300 and They haul the mail! Pretty embarrassing to have someone with hard cases, a top case, and loaded down with gear, pulling you on the twisties LOL!
I'm really digging the BMWs! Those Boxer engines last forever and most of the time the Bikes are fully loaded with accessories, so you don't have to worry about mods. You just have to worry that they knew what they were doing when the hooked them up LOL -
On a childish side note. Don't try to sneak out a gasser, while sitting on a wooden bench , while listening to your head phones in a restaurant. Embarrassment will ensue.
mickimause, jakecat22 and w.h.o Thank this. -
I do my best to make it as easy as possible for the drivers. I know y'all work hard, deal with less than ideal conditions, have appointment times to make, etc. If a load ready time is 1400 and it still isn't there at 1500, it's noted, and the powers that be are notified before I leave, so they can contact the appropriate store personnel to let them know why their load will be late arriving. By the same respect, if it's a case where a driver didn't trip plan correctly, or they were scheduled too tight to make the appointment, I'm the one who gets to contact the same people to explain. So when somebody starts their clock 8 hours early because they feel they are above having to wait on a load, and if they show up, the loaders will drop all other loads to do theirs, I tend to get a little frustrated. I'll go to great lengths to make sure drivers get what they need, when they need it, as quickly as possible, but I can't always work miracles. For the most part, I adore all our drivers, even the high maintenance ones.

Got some good news, good news, good news, okay news, and bad news today...nothing to do with driving or trucks, though.
Good news - eldest boychild - the Marine - is going to be home next week, from Okinawa, on leave, for a month and I will actually be home to see him.
Good news - youngest girlchild & her husband got the grant they were waiting on to buy their house.
Good news - biopsy came back on youngest girlchild's lump, it isn't cancer.
Okay news - she still has to have surgery to remove it. "Selective neck dissection", I think she called it.
Bad news - Hubby lost a friend either late last night or early this morning. He (the friend, not my old man) was over in the sandbox as a contractor. Not sure if it was an IED or a suicide bomber.scythe08, w.h.o, dieselfuelonly and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sorry for this stupid question but I know absolutely nothing about motorcycles..do some actually have working AC??
