Was not expecting it to flip at the end. ####!!!!!

Bet that driver might be flipping burgers now, instead of trucks.

All the pilot cars fault. They steer the rear of that trailer not the driver, it is remote control. If it drifted like that then it either had a mechanical fault or the pilot car lost control of it. It was obvious several seconds before it hit that there was a problem they should have yelled at him to stop.
If I was the truck driver I would be po'd!

The brake lights come on just before impact, so either the driver or pilot noticed... just a little too late.

I think the pilot couldn't see the jersey barrier coming up so maybe he was planning on recorrecting the trailer but the driver also should have been watching his mirror and seen how far the trailer was drifting. Doesn't look like the pilot ever lost control of the trailer though. In the end I would put blame on the pilot and partially the driver but not punish either. But I would make them all go through a class on communication.

the driver knew he was drifting. he was straddling the white lines. i don't see the trailer being remote. there's no cab and no steering of the tires. it was probably a load shift on that trailer so it wasn't pulling straight anymore. once he made that turn.
