LadyFlatbed, you just signed up & have nothing but praise for Western Express. A Company that people have nothing good to say.

Interesting timing you appear the same time the Western Express recruiter disappears.

U might try Knight. Although I didn't get my CDL, so didn't actually work for them, I was around the terminal a lot, and all of their drivers seem very happy with their jobs (only a couple O.O.'s were a little grumpy). They have dedicated Western, Midwest, and up to Canada (they're looking for u, if u have a passport!) out of Memphis. Also a terminal in Indiana, and 'main' terminal in Phoenix, 'tho I don't know what runs they have there.

 

Not a recruiter. Just sharing my experience. I like the company. Then again I'm their only female flatbed team. I pretty much get what I want. Basically my opinion of any company is the same as the one I drive for. Do your job, and don't be a big baby about small stuff and you don't have issues.

 

If you are a positive person on here about your company eventually you get called a recruiter, it's like a TTR tradition.

 

Just not a company hater. No one is holding a gun to my head for me to be there. I make **** good money and they pay for repairs. Win win for me.

 

To thine own self be true Lady. If you're happy then that's all that counts. So how many times a day does somebody say to you "Wow, a female flatbedder.", lol.

 

Lol not many. I get more looks than anything.

 

I'll admit I would look, female flatbedders are very rare.
