They call me about once or twice a year. I left in 09. Please remember that there was a reason you quit in the first place. If that reason is still there and your personal priorities are still the same you will quit again. If I was single, I would be back with Crete but I am married with kids so my local gig is perfect for me.

That's why I was posting here Wizard, trying to find out if they get drivers home in a reasonable amount of time and if each driver had a dedicated driver manager( or whatever Crete calls them) during the day.

Yep, your very own asset manager.
They'll get you home on the day you want, unless you're 2,000 miles away and want home in 2 days.
Or, right before hometime you take that great load, that delivers 1,000 miles away the day before you want home. We refuse those, if we want home on time. If you're flexible, take it and get home later.

A Good Reason to Stick With Prepackaged Foods!

So I'm at Elliot Sadler's Pilot in Emporia, VA. I had went in last night to get some Muscle Milk and hopefully some yogurt. I found the MM but I had to ask for the yogurt. The gentleman behind the counter found this quite amusing and had to yell across the room to a young lady if they sold yogurt. She said no and he furthered his query by asking in a loud voice again "Did you bring any from home you'd like to sell him?" So, I'm not sure if he was making fun of me or the girl but she was obviously upset. Since I don't know the guy I would suspect the rouse to be about the girl. So this morning after I got a shower I decided to go into the restaurant to enjoy the Dennys-esque fo dolla special. Since the surgery it's all about protein intake so two eggs, two strips of bacon and perhaps a bite of toast(I sans-ed the pancakes) would give me a good start to the day. I'm not quite sure where a 3 foot long black hair fits in the protein equation :biggrin_2552: but I decided to error on the side of hygiene and not consume this morning's offering. I opted instead to eat the remaining yogurt in my cooler. Maybe a protein bar a li'l later too. So if you ever pick up at one of those food places or packaging places that require hair nets I applaud them for their efforts!

I have done just fine also. 5,000 miles ahead of last year at this time.
    My last 5 weeks: 3399, 3028, 2360, 3558, 1271 (home 4 days this week).

Column K is the total miles per trip and L is running weekly total and M is the Suggested Route mileage.
Columns D, G and H are pickup city, delivery city and T-call location if there was one.

If you woulda said anything, the waitress would have wiped her dirty hands on her dirty apron, licked her fingers, the fished it out of your food and said "there ya' go sugar, now enjoy...would ya' like me to warm up ur coffee sweetie?"
