if you use a terminal trruck wash, expect half thew truck to be clean. jurupa valley has a crew that hand washes trucks. they do a decent job

    Sheridan, WY at the Walmart.

Picked up a load from Coors late this morning, heading to Billings, MT for a 0900 drop.
I got a message saying that the system showed that I was late a few hours in.
Well, if they would have sent me the pplan a couple hours earlier I would have had more time, now wouldn't I? As it was they sent it at the very last moment, considering I had to go find an mt in the Swift terminal. Then the green tagged trailer I snagged had not yet been released from the last truck, so I wasted more time getting that fixed.
The window for pick up had been from 0330 and I didn't get it until 0915.

As it is, with a 10 hour break and 15 minute pretrip, I have about 5-10 minutes leeway - with 138 miles to go.
    But it's all interstate.
If nothing slows me down too much I'll just make it.

From there I'm headed to Worland, WY with a delivery the next day in Utah.

I'm glad I got this Coors load. I only had 1300 miles for this weeks pay because of the home time. 1900 is much better.

Atlanta GA is the closest I come to a terminal with a wash and I am never closer than 3 hours away. It's just not gonna happen unless I take the truck home for hometime which I never do since I leave a vehicle at Greer.

yeah I keep a car at the DC I work out of, I dont use it much during the work week unless I decide to do some shopping or run an errand and I sleep in the truck 5 days of the week. I go to Lathrop once in awhile but seems the wash is always down lately and Mira Loma I have never seen it open, always with trucks parked in it or in front of it.

Finally feeling well enough to get out of the house. Now sitting at the T/A 3 miles from my home. Yes, I could go back home, but why bother. I think that there is something in my home that always get me ill, so decided to stay in the truck. Now waiting to get off hold, 90 day DOT. Taking Rapid a little while today. It is okay. Set PTA for tomorrow morning anyway. Try and get some sleep in the truck. Good old Rapid, knew that home ill, took care of truck payments. Not in the hole. For the naysayers, Swift will work with you when something comes up.

as a L/O are you allowed to get your bit service done at a TA or does that have to be done at a terminal like a company driver?
