I ended up having push farther east to pine grove. I801 was shut down in Virginia because of another semi accident and that cost almost 2 hours. I tried to make it to my consignees, praying I could sleep there, but I decided not to risk it. I got to 20 miles away.

Does anybody have problems with the in cab 5th wheel release not fully closing when hooking up? The jaw locks around but the handle is not all the way in. I have to either pulled out and rehook or pulled the handle and let the spring adjust and it automatic slide all the way in. Happens with every trailer and getting annoying.

You might have grease built up on the jaws. When you're bob tailed take a sturdy stick and trip the locking jaws (be sure your fingers are not in the way, unless you want a new nickname). Then drain some diesel out of the fuel water separator and pour it over the jaws. Partially pull the release handle and pour more diesel as the jaws go back and forth. The diesel should lube up the jaws and make coupling easier.

It also might be a problem with the incab release system. Never had one so I don't know.

How hard is it to pay your drivers what they earned? Is it REALLY that difficult?

Our entire dedicated account's pay got screwed up. This is the 3rd time in 4 weeks. It is getting really bad. I didn't get paid for any loads I pulled last week. Just called them and told em if I don't get paid Friday, their load won't get delivered, I don't work for free.

So on a completely unrelated note, can anyone tell me what's going on in this picture? I saw this pulling into the Indy OC a couple of weeks ago, and I couldn't stop laughing!
