Surprised that permits did not tell you the trick about OK ad KS pass. Never stick them to the windshield. When you need one, just pull out some scotch tape, stick it to the window and when done, pull it off and back into the envelop. They told me this trick after the first windshield was replaced in PHX and needed new ones.

Here in Sulphur Springs, TX. Thought about going to the TA but thought that by the time that got there, parking might have been a little tight. Close to Dallas on a Sunday afternoon. Lepton, was about 2 hours behind you. Left out of W. Memphis and it was pouring again. Nothing but flooding all around. Was able to get through that construction quite easy.

Well did a MAC 30 and good old Lancaster. Got 3 offers, and not one over 300 miles for Tuesday morning. Lancaster is the pits when it comes to MAC 30. I swear that they just put the crap loads on there. Oh, all 3, Houston. I can not ever remember getting something decent out of Lancaster on MAC 30 over 300 miles. Sorry Innkeeper, but your terminal, well you know what I am thinking and going to say. I remember one time when I was there, (for you old timers here, remember Zukimart), well it is also his terminal, L/O, and he was offered a pplan, pu the next day, and to get a MT, they wanted him to deliver a live unload that next day. If any of you have met him, off he stormed to see his DM, and I can just imagine the words.

Well after the MAC 30, sent a pplan, 240 miles to Houston. Nope. Then lo and behold, a new pplan, 1600 miles to McCarran, NV for the 3rd. Was hoping to sneak it in on the 2nd, but it is a live load Doskocil at 1600 so that will not happen now. Oh well, it will be a short week, but now do not have to deliver at 0930 since this is a open window. Funny how all of a sudden a decent load pops up. Think that I might be doing some gambling on the 4th since I do not see me getting anything out of there on the 3rd.

I wish I had known earlier that you were in town. I come home to Sulphur Springs almost every weekend. I would have come to the Pilot and you could have helped me with the grilling Sunday evening! Mr. J. Walker and Mr. Bud Weiser were both in attendance!

Ignoring your rude remarks about my terminal!

You had a decent load pop up out of Lancaster?!!! WOW!!! I haven't seen that in going on 8 months now ... for the record there is a Command load that goes out of Dallas every Monday and delivers in Pueblo at 2200 Tuesday.

Casper, WY being unloaded at K-Mart.

I had a 0400 delivery time. At 0325 I get a message to send the mac 5 ASAP.
    I replied that I had a 0400 delivery.

I get there, check out the dock area and pull in, ask a guy at the front door which door I should use, then send the mac 5 at 0355.
Just then another message comes in - Duane, it is now 0352. Please send the mac 5.

Been up on the NJTP since Saturday morning. It's all good, there was a hole in the fence and Abby and I were able to walk the neighborhoods and chase all sorts of creatures. We saw a couple of beaver looking critters but they did not have the flat tail, rabbit, red fox, and lots of kitties.

Signs all over the place stating NO Idling $250 fine. No big deal, I had plenty of gas for the papu to get through all day all night Saturday and was able to refill the 2 gallon portable container in the evening of Saturday. Ran out last night and the day guys on the fuel islands will not fill my can. I called the manager of the Sunoco ,he said it's turnpike rules not to fill portable containers.

In other news, trying to hook up with a broker load out of here, called the shipper they said my load to the destination picks up somewhere in Texas this morning. I'm heading to the shipper now anyway, she said plenty of parking and I see on the GPS there is a gas station down the street.

Swift tried to give me a t-call load to Denver for Tuesday. Just do not want to be at that terminal. Hate it. Tired of always just being offered their heavy bottle and beer loads. This is the second long one that I have gotten out of Lancaster. Last one was Portland, OR. What a PITA that was. Weight was way off. Command had lots of loads coming out of here. And yes, Denver also. Take a heavy Command load or the one that Swift offered. All of 6K. Again, just hate Denver and trying to find a spot to drop and then hunt for a MT
