its been hot around here, in Shafter its been over 100 everyday, tehachapi has been around 90

 

Well, got here to IGH this morning and everything fell to crap. My supposed pu changed to 1330, so it was pulled. Then a pplan to West Allis, WI for morning and stacked with one from MOPAR in Milwaukee to Denver. Then plus 1 kicks in and says nope. I was going to deliver at 0700 and Mopar was 1800. Now lets pu in Faribault and t-call in Denver and then Denver to Gilbert for Saturday. Hate this Plus 1.

 

My student and I were stacked with two loads before we arrived in Denver two days ago. First load was a local live unload in Greeley to get an empty, then down to Aurora to do a drop and hook headed to Las Vegas. We were delayed during the day because my student wasn't able to use the HOS on the Qualcomm. Tech support had to get it solved (today finally) and we had to call in each time to get someone to give us our next dispatch after each empty call.

We ended up staying at the Aurora Flying J last night, then my student ran back over the Rockies to Cedar City, UT. Taking a 10 and we're already stacked with another load headed from Vegas to Lubbock. My student is making big strides with shifting and getting the nack of backing after I helped him understand the way to set up properly.

 

denver terminal. went to dispatch to see if could tcall load. one guy said probably not. they r overbooked. another guy asked my truck number which i gave and he said he has a load sitting here delivering at safeway at 0900 tomorrow morning. i said perfect lol. at least get started 4 hrs earlier and get another load on this pay period.

 

McCalla, AL Petro. Wanted to shutdown at the Love's but it was a mess over there. Got a call from Phoenix asking if I'm ready for my first student but I've been trying to wait until I got my Volvo 780 but its taking longer than I thought.

 

tell them to switch you out in Phoenix, they normally have plenty of trucks there

finally relaxing on my day off, spent the last several hours driving to Bakersfield to get some shopping done and dang its so expensive to shop healthy but I am dedicated to the diet this time, my total loss for the week was 9.5 lbs

 

Odessa, NE. Went to pick up my MOM 19K load, and would you believe, it was really 33K.

 

somewhere in colorado on hwy 62 doing my 30 minute break. pulled overon shoulder when it hit zzero. no rushing on us50. hope make it to cortez tonite 3stopper and all delivers betweeen 0800-1200. some narly storms with peasize hail. not fun
