Do it daily: For the kids and crackheads, I'm a adult and nothing anyone can do about it. Have to make sure it works :biggrin_25519:

I had a car go by me the other day. Little one in back had a downcast face and mom was telling him to sinal me to blow the horn so he did. I did and his litle face brightened up and he starting clapping. Mom waved and said thanks.
To blow the air horn on the new Intl ProStars, you push a button on the steering wheel. Takes the fun out of it. Useless in a situation where you really need it cause if the wheel is not in the staight ahead postion, by the time you find the button you don't need it anymore.

drove one for line haul steel mill. Quirkest things since my start of CDL. Bad part is i wrote it up NO air horn for several weeks and the safety guy had it in the shop numerous times. One day the mechanic flat out told me. it's on the steering wheel and the safety guy is a Idiot. I thanked him and apologized, he said it's normal for drivers un familar with the setupl and the safety guy never drove a truck lol

ours it look like cruise control tab and never bothered to press it lol

I will only do it on an open road or interstate, not in an urban environment or at traffic lights.

    3 young men one day . . .
    Wanted air horn.

Thumb toward back . . . hands in "she's sleeping" motion on side of head . . . and finger up to lips "SHHHHHH!" . . .

They got it. Thumbs up. Carry on.

Rest of the time - if she's awake , its ON!

FMCSR 393.28(b) - All professional truck drivers shall comply with requests from children of all sizes to blow said AIR HORN in a friendly manner, at all times, safely.

One of the fun things about running through the boondocks was the different ways I could amuse myself. I regularly passed by a little herd of 10-15 of those fainting goats. They tended to hang out in the corner of their pasture right by the stop sign on the road. I'd honk the horn just to watch them go stiff-legged and topple over. If they were lined up right they looked like little furry dominoes, and I'd laugh about it for the next 50 miles.
