That's the only complaint I have with bulk. 43-45k lb loads every day going everywhere. Just gotta learn how to work it.

North of $350.00.......

Only time I'd go to Poland springs is either on a sightseeing tour in my car or forced dispatch lol. Just one of the few places I've gotten my eyes on the Schneider invoice
-
But if Poland is $4 per mile and youre getting 65%, thats still over $2 per mile. Or are they using funny math again. Who was is that posted the pic of a Schneider logistics load that was brokered to Schneider national for a rediculous amount?
-
I wish. Normal day rate for me. 190ish
-
So picking up a relay for crate&barrel and I was told to called sni border line for a "bond"? Never dealt with bonds or anything border related but this came from NJ and I'm going to IL.
-
NJ to IL and you need a bond the really are in a world of their own....
-
Yeah the railyard dont know what the hell I'm asking for. But the message was like DONT LEAVE THE RAIL W/O BOND IN HAND. Jeesus people, I might just leave and head to kostner cause these people won't verify the fax number

At the end of the year your total will $50000 or less. I make 50k or more a year as company. And I dont have the head aches of l o. So yes your daily weekly checks are bigger hell they better be. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to to pay back schneider. My issues stems from all this post making it sound like choice is easy as pie. Members log in see these amazing numbers you post and think geeze I can do that. Drivers come over to leasing thinking they don't have to drive hard go home when they want. As the old saying goes if wheels aren't rolling your not making money and thats true. Do I stay out 4 weeks and go home for a 34 only dang straight. Can't stand not driving. I do dang good as company driver. Will I make the turn to a l o most likely 2 decades of company driver might b time to switch and finish out my next 2 decades as l o.but I'll never buy a truck there not built to last more then 3 to 5 years after that throw them away. And no im sober.

Now with that said, you are right...I really don't see any illusions that you don't have to run hard, you do. Whether you are company or l/o, you do have to keep the left door shut. The Cascadia's get good fuel mileage, but the truck itself is not all that. Decent is the word I would use I guess. To me personally, it's all about the success or failure falling on me and me only and being able to go or not go where I want. I will go where I really don't want to go if the money is right except NYC. It's not easy for sure, when you are not rolling, you're on the load board, 30 min. break, load board, when at home, load board[except with some ttr thrown in there lol]. It's constant working/load board, but it's the freedom of looking at your dispatcher in the mirror everyday and not one sitting in a cubicle in Gb, Charlotte or wherever telling you this is where you are going. That's me, it's different for everyone and anyone reading the threads and thinking it's easy as pie are just reading what they want to see and not the big picture or not reading everything. You have read it all and I'm sure you have talked to l/o's in person, so find you a good truck moosc and join the party. It's not all bad.TennMan, scatruck and knuckledragger Thank this.
