Was it an earth friendly bulb or incandescent?
-
Tarp loads under 35* I just demand more money and ask if it's tarpping inside or out same with unloading
-
I only run for a buck and a half a mile for the line haul but I charge out about $20K a month in tarping fees........
barroll Thanks this. -
I agree with the winter tarping is not ideal but its part of the job. Be very carefull in winter not to fall off trailer deck all decks can get slippery but I think the worst is anything with wood decking and tarps get slippery aswell. I started flatdecking in the fall so basically winter is all I knew but I did enjoy my florida, alabama, and texas runs let the truck melt for aweek before I got it slushed up again.

No folding frozen tarps on top of a sheet of ice is fun, then head down to Texas with a no tarp load and go to put tarps on and they are sitting in a pool of water in your tarp box.

Never scale?
-
I've scaled my spread axle maybe three times this year just to make sure. When you can legally load 20,000lbs per trailer axle you have to make an effort to get an axle overweight without going over gross weight.

I hate tarping! But I would rather do it in the winter than the summer.

I'm with you there, I know how to load it on trailer and where my gages should be and how the dunage sits to know it's not over.
