I can't remember where it is but it's just a drop lot. Only been there once.

 

Home. Made it home last night. Leaving for vacation tomorrow morning!

 

Once I get loaded, heading to that rest area in cedar rapids. Suppose to be DnH but you know Schneider

There is that nice truckstop, Caseys, down the road from that horrid drop yard. If you ever have to drop a trailer to be repaired there and have to go into that office to the south of the yard, DO NOT PET THAT *CENSORED* one-eyed CAT!!!!!!! The office ladies will trick you into petting the darn thing and that creature from the fiery pits of hell will nuzzle your hand,purr, and then latch on with teeth and all 4 paws!

 

Lollll I freaked out when I saw it, never pet it. Yeah Casey's is a nice truck stop but I had a hour left so I drove to that peelot to grab some chicken.

 

Parked at the Arrowhead Travel Plaza, on I80, right at the bottom of Cabbage. Love the place! Good sammiches, cheap stuff, no tax!!!! Nice bathrooms. The Computer/laundry room is so cold that I have perma RT! I could cut diamonds! It's nice to actually be able to stop here when it isn't snowing like crazy on Cabbage and there isn't 400 trucks trying to shut down at the same time. Last time I was here was in 04, when I was shuttling Day cabs from Portland to Salt Lake city for Swift. I used to sleep in the dirt parking lot. I don't even think it was called Arrowhead, back then, but it might have been.
