    Its crazy how alcohol can have such a grip on some people. I love some whiskey and Budweiser as much as the next guy but there's a time and place. Very sad for that dude only 28 and your career is gone.

    Now this is something to wonder about........Canada will NOT let in a US truck driver if they have a DUI on their record, no matter how old it is. Will they let this guy back into the country?

    I find it funny people think truckers aren't like everyone else. We have same amount of alcoholics, pill heads and potheads as every other industry.

    I would imagine if it were one of their own countrymen they would have to, but I doubt if they would let him back in as a truck driver.

    It is sad, and there are some truly mentally disturbed people driving trucks, with or without the drug use that I have realized. People that cant hold a steady job anywhere else due to temper/mental issues/etc..but somehow manage to be qualified to drive a 80,000 lb bullet down the road.
