My friend applied last week. He was told that at the first of the year everyone will be going on e-logs, and any one that signs on after Sept 1st will be on e-logs. Has anyone else heard this? He is not know for telling the whole truth.

    A questions for all...

So twice in the last few weeks my coordinator has booked a load for me without asking. The first time I'm thinking he did it because he thought I was due for my 6 month inspection in Louisville. However, I had one done a few days before at home and the computer hadn't updated yet. He booked a cheap load from Kansas City to Louisville. I gave him a pass because it was a misunderstanding. Now, this second time happened today. I took a load from Philly down to Southern Florida and was hoping to get a good load out if I had any luck. Instead, it seems that the deadhead was over 450 miles to get up to GA for a load. I made a joke with him this morning about how I screwed up heading down here and that I'll be bouncing up to GA for a load. Next thing I know, he's calling me to tell me he got me a load that's 120 miles from where I was going to Louisville and then Madison, WI. It doesn't pay much but it's better than bouncing 500 miles, so I'm partly ok with that. However, I don't want this to become normal but then again I also don't like the fact that when I bring up my concerns with him, he gets a bit moody or defensive. He's an old timer and seems to think he knows what he's doing.

Anyways, I know I should of just said something right away but I don't like the confrontation especially when it's not exactly a big deal...

For Van the lanes that have been good for me have been, North Carolina to California, if you do not mind going to California and California back to North Carolina or California to Louisiana or Georgia. These have been good to me $4,000+ (NC-CA), $2500+ CA-LA or GA to the truck.
