I know I am new and my opinion doesn't add up to much compared with the experienced drivers here, but here is my opinion on this. Raider Express who will be paying my tuition takes $75.00 a week after being assigned a truck and leaving for the first trip. I have been told this and expected as much. The starting cents per mile pay is .30 which I know is not getting rich and takes alot of miles to make a living.
I was going to go with Stevens who starts at .26 cents per mile, which is $800.00 a week. I currently dispatch at a limousine and bus company and I am grossing $650.00 for a 40 hour week. I think that you have to do what you have to do to get a foot in the door and the fact that I am paying the tuition back out of payroll is alot better than driving for a CRST and having to sign a contract that I may not be able to be complete. -
So here's the deal I NEED help!!! I just moved to Dallas Texas from Michigan last month I got a Texas drivers license as of 9/3/14 I had a Michigan driver's licenses since 2006 I'm 25 no felonies no misdemeanors I know for sure my Michigan license have been suspended in the past (last time maybe 2012 or 2013) for driving with no insurance tickets and fail to pay them and stupid drivers responsibility but NO DUI'S or DWI's but I lack work history I've been not working now for about nine months and no funds I really wanna be a truck driver I have a family to support are there ANY PAID cdl training schools that would take me in??? if so PLZ let me know

School isn't the problem. It's finding a company that will hire you with a recent suspension that will prove to be difficult.
Go down the list and apply with everybody...

Wow, this was a great thread for people looking for company paid CDL training.
I'm going to take and list them all here together and hopefully get any updates or thoughts on these company's and their ranking that they should have, plus any new ones that might have been missed.
I'm looking for a company paid training myself thus my interest.
There were basically two different lists, I was hoping we could somehow reorganize them back into one list.
