You'll have to weigh on a scale then adjust accordingly.
Pick the 40 foot mark to start. Do you have any gauge for either axle set now?Balakov100 Thanks this. -
Depends on what states you'll be travelling through.

Put the rear edge of the rear tire under the rear edge of the last pallet.
jeepnut_nh Thanks this. -
Nope I'm always pulling different trailers.its really going to chomp my hours going to a scale.
-
$10 for a scale ticket is cheaper than the overweight fine.
Guessing is for rookies . . .Naptown, BrenYoda883, Joetro and 1 other person Thank this. -
hahahahah
OK
Well it's going to chomp your paycheck if you get caught overweight.Joetro, allniter, blairandgretchen and 3 others Thank this. -
Yeah - I know. Elogs I guess?
You'll have to scale to be sure.
Hint - mark your air gauge if you have one on the drives with a small sticky pointer when the drives are verified 34k. May save time next time.
You can eyeball it, but if you're wrong . . .Skydivedavec and "semi" retired Thank this. -
That's why it's so nice to have a gauge on the dash for your drive axles pressure. And one for the wagon, if you have air ride trailer, but clearly this person is swapping wagons a lot, but that gauge for the drives saved me many times.
Skydivedavec, allniter and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
vs a pull in at weigh station because you didn't know exactly what weight was on each axle.
Bottom line: If you don't scale it, you don't know. Having a guess and knowing 100% are 2 different things.
If you're a company driver, most reimburse the cost.allniter and blairandgretchen Thank this.
