I'm at heartland express now.. I love it here. They have a lot outvof central florida. A guy that lives in Kissimmee was in orientation n he's doing dedicated like I am n home every weekend

 

Yea they called but heard they don't pay orientation plus they tell ya be home then don't happen "of coarse thats probably everybody "

 

They pay for you to get there and hotel.. but they dont pay you for being there. However, they dud not feed me subway. They took us to a restaurant everyday for lunch.

 

Plus I've been to 2 terminals. The one one had and atl. They are nice. My experience so far has been great.

 

I wanna add my .02, ur thread is right on ...your experiences have to be your own. Fresh out of CDL school i was terminated from my first job due to me having a lazy co-driver in my training phase and driving on his clock to make the load on time.. nehow i felt desperate and impatient and jumped on the first job that called me back...CR ENGLAND!!!! i had heard this company name drugged thru the mud left and right and it turned out to be the best company out of my 1st paschall, and current John christner. their front office, safety dept, shop workers were superior. I was a relief/recovery driver and brought between $700-$1000 every week with 2mos. exp. they can be wateva kinda of company people want them to be but for me they were great. i only left cause they couldnt get me home for home time... not recruiting not their anymore im just saying when reading these posts we're not getting the company perspective of the driver.. people have to create their own experiences. thanks for ur post

Young_Gun...Where was orientation for you being located in Tampa? My Husband is in Jacksonville and just curious if Charlotte is the closest location for orientation.
