Woke up to an earthquake. No it was worse someone hit my truck. I sprung up and laid into the air horn and this guy was trying to back up and go forward . He was parked next to me all night and was leaving out but not enough room between where we parked and the fuel pumps in Tooele UT TA.

Anyway I got my boots on and cam/phone out start taking pics and he's yelling and screaming at me to move my truck so he can go to work. I couldn't move because my generator was up under the hood locked to the front axle leaf spring. He kept yelling and screaming at me calling me a 'P" and a "B" and "F U stuff like that I just hit 9-1-1 and spoke to a dispatcher to get local PD out there. Then the guy got right in my face, chest to chest, I kept turning my left shoulder into his chest and he kept circling me round and round while the dispatcher kept asking me questions. I finally said the words "sir, please step back one arm's length away from me". She heard this and dispatched Highway Patrol, Sheriff and local Tooele PD.

Anyway we got my truck and his trailer separated and all it was was my mirror was pushed way forward. Pulled it back to position and told the cops I was good. Little bit of white paint scuff, but should buff out with rubbing compound.

Once the cops told him the good news that he was free to go, his whole demeanor changed to wanting to shake my hand, hug me and be best buddies.

Rest area on I-55 in West, MS. Got out of shipper at 1600 and Command got my apt reset to 1300. There was just no way was going to make 0930. Now I have an extra 3 hour leeway, but also not much of a chance of getting something late in the day and of course no place to park in the area. Hate to go back to the terminal. Will lose my mt.

    HousTank Thanks this.

If you're planning on going all the way back to the terminal for your 10 I have some hidey hole places in Romulus you could park it about halfway distance and not have to give up your MT trailer. .

TA in Mt Vernon, IL. After chasing an empty this morning I picked up my load, 30 miles back to Morris to end up 800 pounds over on the drives, so back to shipper. That snafu will probably cost me the backup load I have, If not I still won't break 2k this week.

A big buck ran out from the median and smashed my hood and bumper up pretty bad. Al Exactly the same position and end result of the last buck who ran out a but that deer only pushed in my light assembly, this guy did that and cracked up the hood and bend a strut. As fate would have it was only a couple miles from the nearest truck stop and a Kenworth store right next door. All this right before the weigh station.

they wanted me to buy a new strut and bumper bracket, light assembly. I already had the bumper bracket from 3 years ago that I never put on lol and told the guy to straighten out hhe strut on his vice and see if the hood will close correctly after. It does, with a little help so just waiting for the light assembly to come in tomorrow and get back in the saddle. Will put the truck in the shop for body work in a couple weeks during hometime.
