Thanks for not busting my chops, guys.
I didn't even know what I didn't know when I started this thing...

I could be happy with a $500 a week net at first.
SNI has some dedicated accounts near here that are perpetually advertised and then there's the OTR option. Got two little ones at home, so I'm tempted by the dedicated, there's a walmart and a dollar general, I think. From reading the other threads, it sounds like dedicated accounts don't count as OTR experience (like with the Choice program, etc.).
    Opinions?

Yeah. That's my story to. Only, I did it with the bulk Division. Some details are different. But the "Company Culture" is the same.

I did it for 12 years. I should have left after 2, and moved on to a better place.

What you experienced, was that Drivers reaction to the company culture of "The Rat".

    He was worried.

Ever notice an orange trailer with the phone # painted over with black spray-paint ?

The company encourages Drivers to "Rat".

After a while. You hear enough stories, that a Driver might feel threatened and react defensively if approached or if they think they are being observed.

    I wouldn't take it personally.

    Just another Oddity.

So what's your point other than stating that you are in good position to debate?

They don't encourage people to rat. People are rats of their own free will, and yes there are those types at Schneider

Everywhere driver, not just Schneider. Don't get me wrong, I see a driver drinking bud light and having it off while driving, I'm liable to "Rat". Someone having a hard time backing? ####, I was a rookie once too, (Still am, Really...) and I understand. You know?

I've talked to a few of SNI's Walmart dedicated drivers and they seemed pretty happy with their lot in life. Dollar General, on the other hand, generally has eutger pissed off drivers, hurt drivers, or rookies who don't know any better.

    harlycharly55 Thanks this.
