Spoke with someone about trailer pool, they will not allow me to switch back and forth between Pool and Xtra, ; have to stick with the trailer assigned to the tractor account. I told him I didn't want to turn mine in now because I have now found the third ding in it plus I had vents installed and the tires are down about 5/32nds . Not sure how much Xtra would backcharge me for all of that. just to get on the trailer pool fleet may not be worth it for a while.

Still thinking about getting a second truck and using the trailer pool for that tractor and eventually buying a trailer and getting a third truck and put that one to work as well.

In other news a large buck ran out and smashed my hood/bumper up. Got it functioning properly and will get it in the body shop in a couple weeks on hometime.

So your trailer rental fee gets one trailer in particular not access to any trailer in the pool?

For those of you who wonder this is I believe the 6th and 7th time since 8/07so about 10,000 in repair costs around 1000 in hotel costs around 14,000 in lost revenue. Lets go Trailer truckin

How's life at road runner? I just talked to a driver that was doing very well just pulling terminal loads she showed me the paper that has the amount and even showed me her bank account lol, but she has been there for 3 months and she says she loves it, I'm thinking about going this option.

if i could keep my truck running i could make money the thing is very little or no deadhead and very long length of haul. so it can work out pretty well depending on how hard you will run.
