the A/C and the heater work well, i'm always turning them off and on, but as soon as I turn the A/C off the cab gets too hot to be in
as for bunk heaters, I cannot tell you, i've never had a truck where they actually worked
how well do the AC/heaters work?

You should run it anyways, even if the sleeper fan is on the lowest setting. Same with SUVs and vans with dual ac systems. It allows all the refrigerant to circulate a making the system more efficient.
-
Ya, that's true.

you're forgetting one of the most important things, the Borg bluetooth earpiece

Pretty much everything modern will turn on the front fans at low speed, if the rear has the ac on. Stops it from freezing etc.
I remember my first "modern" truck that had that on it. Took me actually reading the handbook to figure it out! The horror of it....reading an owners manual! lol

Yeah I hear you. I had that happen in the freightliner I drove.

Heaters and AC'S work great in trks but like everything else they do go out and because it's not a dot issue your company would probably wait till you get back to their shop to get it fixed, then they would probably put u up in a hotel for the night if the weather is unbarable to sleep.

Heater is required by DOT, not A/C
but i've nad few complaints about heater and A/C -
Oh really,I did not know that. What happens if your heater goes out do they require to get it fixed within like 24 hrs, shut you down or what. Not that I don't believe you but can you direct me to law?

A truck is required to have a working defroster system for the windshield. So if the heat or blower is non functioning, then the defroster is non functional.
