Couldnt have said it better. Thank you very much. It one of my pet peeves that other drivers do.

Sarcasm....... nothing I love more then to have to re-adjust my eyes to the darkness after being blinded when I looked in my mirror to get over.

I usually wont come over and floor it till I am at least 1000 ft ahead and then come over with no signal. I know they dont get it because often they continue flashing when I wont come over. Really really urks me and no idea how to get them to understand its not curtious.

You most likely have brown or dark eyes.

I have light blue eyes which are very sensetive to light. I see better in the dark then you do. I assure you of that. The best race car drivers have typically always been blue eyed because of our better eye sight.

If you are too lazy to show some old school courtesy or just get your kicks by pi**ing other drivers off. Well... what goes around comes around. Eventually you'll get yours.

i like getting the Flash from drivers
    i Flash others
    hate me if you want
i dont stare at my mirror waiting for the flash
just catch it out the corner of my peripheral vision

with all the distracted drivers not on headsets, watching you tube etc etc
    this is your big problem?

I'll choose to worry about the clown with his foot on the dash running beside me over Sherman

Sorry pal, but I have baby blues. Sorry to burst your eye color conspiracy theory, lol. Thanks for mentioning racing. My father was a race car driver, my brother was a race car driver and hey, I raced karts when I was younger. But only one of has had baby blues, yep me. Thanks for your brilliant insight, it made me pee my self laughing at you. Ooooooooo, I'll get mine. Guess what #######, bring it on. I sure hope you pass me some day, I'll high beam ya just for the fun of it. Pissy whiny little girls. Get over yourself.

You can check the statistics for the greatest race drivers. They all had blue eyes.

My sensetivity to bright light at night didnt develope. I've always been this way.

Well thank you for your understanding and professionalism. You are a sign of our future and how the world is.

    Over and out.

We are located just outside of West Monroe, La on basically a frontage rd to the interstate. When I leave our facility & am heading west on I-20, there is a steep hill to pull just as I get on the interstate. While on the on ramp, I have my left turn signal on, so I can merge onto the interstate. Once I have done so, I turn off my turn signal & immediately turn on my 4 way flashers until I have cleared the top of the hill. By the time I leave the on ramp at 50 mph, I can usually gain about 5 mph until I start up that hill. By the time I get to the top of the hill I am back to about 50 mph. I just want to give people plenty of time to know to merge into the left lane before getting to me. As well, hopefully, the flashing lights will alert someone from running up behind me before they realize it.

So far, I havent had any problems with LEO's for doing this.. But I am glad to know the law exists. Thanks :)

Wonder how big a deal it is that 50% of the drivers of volvo trucks leave their high beams on at all times ... is this somehow less offensive??

Nope. I thought the same and questioned a guy at a rest area once. Turned out he just had bright lights. Many of the Cascadia come at me and I'd swear he had his brights on.

I bought new headlights for my Columbia and get flashed all the time by drivers who think I have high beams on. If they only knew how much I share their sentiment.
